It is the witch hunter of all people who falls as a rider when Lioba, the blond daughter of the hatter, gets in his way on the field. Now the henchmen furiously hunt down the innocent maid, who grabs her and drags her through the mud, only to take her into the witch tower. Chained, she spends the first night in the dungeon, where she is visited by dark figures who grope and defile her. The next day she comes to court and is accused of getting involved with demons at night. But to punish the maid fairly, her confession is missing.
