Jon Ho is married to three brides - Small, Medium and Large. On the night of his third wedding, Medium, his second wife, begins to get jealous. As this happens, a criminal moonshiner family known as the Fuggs - consisting of Mama Fugg, her three sons Teeny, Tiny and Mighty - flees the law and sets up camp in Jon Ho's thirty acres of forest to hide from capture. Medium sees Tiny bathing outside and masturbating to him. As she does so, she is caught outside with a tree trunk. Medium and Tiny then flee, fall in love and hide in the forest, hoping to escape their two families so they can elope. In the meantime, Large and Small go in search of Medium. They fight and separate to cover a larger area. Small runs into Teeny and Mighty, and they take her virginity (Jon Jo and Small still haven't completed their wedding night). Large tries to save Small, but has to come to terms with Mama Fugg to achieve this by having sex with her. Large and Small go back into the house. Jon Jo finds out that Small has been deflowered and goes after the Fuggs himself. He is caught by them and forced into a deal. If he wants to live, he has to let the Fuggs live on his land, protect them from the police and help them make moonshine. Jon Jo sees a financial possibility (and also a way not to get himself killed) and agrees to it. And they drink moonshine to celebrate the agreement. In the end, Jon Jo is so drunk that in a fit of intoxicated insanity he proposes to Mama Fugg. At the wedding, Small shoots Teeny and Mighty dead and Tiny shoots Mama Fugg as well. Large, Small and Medium all leave Jon Jo. Medium and Tony Fugg marry each other, and Large and Small start their own relationship.
