Amanda Trask was kidnapped in 2001 by a man named Richard Alan Goetz and his family. Since then she has been living on his family estate, nicknamed The Garden. During this time she has learned to follow his habits and live by his rules. In all this time she has never tried to escape. Not once. But when Amanda gets pregnant with Richard's baby, she begins to wonder if maybe it's time to leave the nest of The Garden.
