Megan (Gia Derza) and Aliyah (Evelyn Claire) haven't had an easy life. They're best friends trying to make it out on the streets after being kicked out of their homes. Left to fend for themselves, there are more bad days than good, but they both still daydream of a brighter future. Although everything seems bleak, they promise that they'll always be there for each other, which seems to give them both hope... But how long will that hope last? Mia Moore delivers food to someone and is surprised when she recognizes the recipient as Paige Owens, an old friend. But their chat is cut short when Mia has to leave to drop off another order. A few days later, Mia shows up again at Paige's house to deliver more food. Much to Mia's pleasant surprise, Paige invites her in to eat with her. Mia happily accepts her offer and goes inside. As they eat, they reminisce about old times, and talk turns to the fact that they were both social outcasts in high school. It doesn't take long for the vibe to become romantic.
